With over 16 years of experience in community-building, education, and mentorship, Kara’s always been the person who brings people together and makes complex things feel simple. From student leadership at UAlbany to grassroots programming and 1:1 coaching, every step of her career has been about helping others grow through connection.

In the last five years, she’s brought that same people-first approach to the world of small business and digital tools — guiding entrepreneurs through the confusing world of automation, marketing systems, and now, AI.

She helps you go from Post-it notes to AI workflows — without losing your mind or your customers.

As the co-founder of AIARTA, Kara designs workshops, bootcamps, and community-led training experiences that help local business owners stop feeling behind… and start building with clarity and confidence.

Philipp Hromek helps overwhelmed business owners get their time (and sanity) back — one automation at a time.

Before co-founding AIARTA, Phil spent over a decade as a certified paramedic working on large-scale oilfield projects across Canada. While his role didn’t always involve flashing lights, it did demand something most businesses desperately need:

calm thinking, sharp systems, and zero room for error.

He’s taken that same mindset into the world of small business — helping founders organize, automate, and simplify the daily chaos of running a company. As a Certified High Level Administrator, he’s the one behind the curtain building custom workflows, fixing tech tangles, and quietly turning duct-tape processes into smooth-running machines.

He’s the guy who helps you stop putting out fires — and start running your business like it’s not constantly on fire.

At AIARTA, Phil leads systems strategy and implementation, making sure every tool we teach actually works in the real world — not just in a demo.
